Excursion and Banquet

Those who want to join these optional events should be booked in advance. Tokyo City Excursion and Conference Banquet are planned on the afternoon of the 4th August, Wednesday.

Fees

Excursion3,000 yen (per person)
Banquet6,000 yen (per person)

Payment Methods

Booking can be made on the Online Registration, and payment can be made by credit card. Those who pay in another method should contact the TOC.

Course of Excursion

Of the Tokyo City Excursion (13:00-18:30) two courses are available, and you can choose A or B:

Traditional Tokyo

visit to Edo-Tokyo Museum (http://www.edo-tokyo-museum.or.jp/english/index.html),
Asakusa-area, (Sensoji-temple, Nakamise-shops) (http://www.taitocity.com/kanko/asakusa_ueno/e_guide/index.html),
boat trip on the Sumida River,
and Tokyo Tower (http://www.tokyotower.co.jp/english/).

We are sorry that we cancelled the course B "Contemporary Tokyo."

B. Contemporary Tokyo

visit to Odaiba area,
Roppongi Hills (http://www.roppongihills.com/en/),
and National Art Center Tokyo (http://www.nact.jp/english/index.html).

Banquet

After the Tokyo City Excursion, Conference Banquet is to be held at the Tokyo Prince Hotel (http://www.princehotels.com/en/tokyo/) (19:00-21:00).

The City Excursion coaches will take participants in the banquet to the Hotel, but those who join the banquet alone are expected to come to the Hotel by themselves (10 min. taxi from Keio University).
